It's My Hair, I Want to Keep It!

I was doing my hair this morning and thinking about how every day my hair shrivels up when I workout, most of my hair is in a weave but the portion I have out tends to nap up when it’s wet. I have a lot of new growth due to no relaxer. I do not relax my hair when it is braided or in a weave. But I do relax it if I know I will be racking my own hair for a while and I wait at least 6 weeks before I braid or weave it to ensure I have enough new growth for the braiding. Braiding freshly relaxed hair is an absolute no no, you hair is too fragile to be pulled.
OK so while I have in my weave and I have my nappy leave outs I have to take care of my hair. I cannot go around looking a hot mess, that being said there are a few things I do to help keep myself looking presentable.
Recently I discovered the Jane Carter natural hair care line. She has a hair serum, hair balm, shampoo & two conditioners (one is a leave-in). The serum and the balm are applied to my leave outs every other day. I also use an anti-frizz serum by Garnier. As well as Chi heat protectant when I want to straighten my hair. There is another product by Garnier I use when I blow dry my leave outs that’s keeps it from frizzing as well, called Sleek & Shine. I don’t hot comb of flat iron my hair too much that will cause breakage. A scarf at night will flatten your hair down.
I also use the Jane Carter on my daughter hair. She too has a weave with leave outs.
If you are interested in the Jane carter Combo kit you can get it on Amazon.

I will say this, I love Organics hair care products. It has kept hair on my head. So if you do not want to pay the price for the Jane Carter you can also keep your hair looking good using Organics. I use the hair mayonnaise, shampoo, conditioner, spray, moisturizer, and relaxer. I firmly stand behind this product for my hair.
Jane Carter is a product I recently started using for my leave outs but so far so good. I’ve had other products used in my hair that caused it to shed, that plus I have realized I cannot wash my hair weekly. It has to be every two weeks and deep conditioned. If you want to try this product I recently came acress it at Marlene's.

That’s all on hair care for now. As I come across new info and products I will be sure to share with you!
