Love Games

What is it about love that has us so afraid? Why are so many afraid to love?

The idea of love is wonderful. We all love the idea of being in love. But the idea of actually giving that love to someone and trusting them not to break our heart is out of the question.


At what point do we truly decide to let go and why is it so hard? Why do we sometimes find it easier to give our hearts to someone that doesn’t deserve it than to someone who does? The person who doesn’t appreciate our love and poses as the biggest challenge, we can love easily. For some reason, there’s this desire to change them by showing them how much we can love them in hope that they can be the person you want them to be to you and that you can take credit as the person who changed their view on love; WRONG!!!


When we leave out of that situation all heartbroken and distraught we end up making it even harder for the person that is truly there to love us. We find faults in everything they do. Instead of channeling the same energy into them as we did the person who didn’t deserve it, we shut them out and keep two pitchforks and barbed wire around our hearts.
