Homemade Donut Holes
I wanted to share with you all; a great recipe for making donut holes at home. My kids love these and I’ve even let the kids help me make them at family functions.
Makes 32
Ingredients
1 pack of 8 biscuits
Cooking oil
Powdered sugar or white sugar & cinnamon or brown sugar (you choose what you want to coat them with)
Directions
In a large saucepan or skillet (or deep fryer if you have one) heat oil (you will need enough to allow the donuts to float).
While your oil is getting hot, open your can of biscuits, separate each biscuit and cut each one into fours. Roll each one between your palms and into a ball.
Place each ball into the hot oil and cook until brown you will need to turn them to ensure they are cooked entirely.
Caution: These cook pretty fast so don’t leave them to cook on their own.
Remove the donuts from the oil and onto a napkin to remove excess oil.
While hot, coat your donut holes with the coating of your choice. You can also come up with your own creative coatings using whatever you like!
Enjoy!
And...It Is What It Is!
