Chade Idol Indian Remi - Review (Video)

Let me start off by saying when it comes to hair, I’m hard to please. I like Bobbi Boss Indi Remi but I hate the fact that it sheds so much, that stuff ends up all over your house. What’s even worse is that they’ve raised the prices of it out here by and additional $20, I say out here because when I recently went to NYC I priced hair and the hair out there was considerably less expensive.

Speaking of NYC, I decided to get my hair redone for my trip; a few months back I purchased a Bobbi Boss Indi Remi lace closure I wanted to wear the closure for my trip (June 14-18), so I told myself I would purchase my hair (Bobbi Boss) online a few weeks before my trip, well time quickly passed me by and before I knew it, it was the weekend before my trip. So I went to my local beauty supply and decided to buy the hair, I wasn’t thrilled to find out it had gone up so much. Lately all my purchases have been online so I hadn’t gone to the store to buy this hair in a while; I called ahead of time so I knew it would be more but still…

Well, while I was there I noticed they had new brands of hair; the one that caught my eye was Idol Indian Remi brand. My daughter loves their regular yaki hair. I loved how it felt and how it looked. I wanted to go longer this time for my birthday, something a little more dramatic. I’m not sure if the hair doesn’t come in 1B or if they just didn’t have it; but I ended up getting two packs of hair, in #2, the #2 matched my 1B closure better than the #1. I got hair in lengths 18S and 16S; I suggest if you get longer length hair that you get 3 packs. We did run out of hair, good thing I had a closure and some extra Bobbi Boss at home. But also, we don’t cut the wefts and we space them pretty close.

OK OK about the hair! With me working out my hair gets gross fast! So I have to wash it all the time, I washed this hair after a week and the whole time I washed my hair it stayed straight, it did not tangle at all. It rarely tangles when it’s dry and it is still soft and the shedding is very minimum. I truly love this hair. I’ve had it in for three weeks now and I am quite impressed.

I think Idol is an underrated brand of hair, even their regular yaki holds up pretty well, I’ve never used it myself but my daughter has a few times and she likes it. Idol’s Indian Remi hair is considerably cheaper than Bobbi Boss Indi Remi and in my opinion holds up better.

A few tips when using this hair:
Wash with a mild shampoo and conditioner (I use Pantene for curly hair and its works lovely)
When washing comb through hair with your fingers, do not wash like you would your own hair.
When conditioning use a big tooth comb to comb through conditioner.
Rinse with cool water.
Flat iron the hair in small sections after you wash it.
*I used one dropper of oil after blow drying.

Well, there is my two cents on this hair. My next step is to see who carries it online ;-)

If you are in the NW Washington State area and would like your hair done by my daughter contact her on Facebook with your name and phone number and we will be in touch with you as quickly as possible.

And…It Is What It Is
