Broiled Lobster, Steamed Crab Legs and Steamed Broccoli

Sometimes you want to have a good meal without having to pay a hefty price or get all dressed up. Sometimes you want to have a great meal in the comfort of your own home. If you are looking to impress that special someone or you just want to impress yourself…I have a wonderful meal for you. This meal only comes with a vegetable side but feel free to add a pasta or grain to customize your meal how you’d like!

Tonight’s Dinner is: Broiled Lobster, Steamed Crab Legs and Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients

Lobster tail(s)
Crab Legs
Fresh Broccoli

Directions

Lobster
Turn your oven on to broil.
Rinse lobster.
With a large sharp knife, slice the shell of your lobster tail; start at the front and make sure the knife is at an angle; make sure you put a little pressure on the knife as you come down in order to crack thru the shell, be careful not to cut the lobster meat. DO NOT slice the end of the tail.
Reach under the lobster meat and pull the meat gently and set on top of the tail…DO NOT pull the meat out completely.
Place tail(s) in a shallow baking dish and put in the oven. Cook until the edges become slightly golden (about 5-10 mins); see above picture.

Crab Legs
Rinse crab legs
Add water to large steamer pot and bring to a rapid boil; make sure water is below steamer basket. Add crab legs and let cook for 5-10 mins. Note: You can add sliced lemons as well.

Fresh Broccoli
Rinse broccoli and slice along the stem; they will look like tree branches.
Add water to large steamer pot and bring to a rapid boil; make sure water is below steamer basket. Add broccoli and let cook for 5 mins.

Season meal to taste.

Note: You can also make melted butter for dipping.

Good Luck!

And…It Is What It Is!
