Lemon Garlic Chili Wings

I am knee-deep into my final quarter of college and when I say I am tired, I am tired. I am on vacation and was able to catch up on sleep today and just relax a bit. I dropped my son off at school, watch television for about an hour and went back to sleep. It was 2 p.m. when I woke up and I needed something delicious that was not breakfast food. I waited a few hours before I got up to cook but between my overstocked fridge and deep freezer, I had a ton of options. I decided to grab a bag of chicken wings for a delicious keto-friendly snack.

I have made multiple variations of these wings and I could not settle on one flavor, so I decided to combine three and see what happens. All the prep is the same, the only difference when making these wings is the seasonings you decided to toss them in, so if you have picky eaters it’s easy to make different variations without all the extra work. I decided to make this an open recipe so that you can season as you please.

Ingredients

Chicken Wings
Olive Oil
Butter. melted
Seasonings

Directions

Heat olive oil in a skillet, you do not need a lot, a half-inch works just fine. Once hot, toss in your naked wings.
Let cook until the downside is golden brown and flip. Cook until both sides are golden brown.

In a large bowl, melt butter. Once melted, toss in chicken wings and toss wings in butter until fully coated.

Toss in your seasonings. I suggest adding seasonings a little at a time, tossing chicken, then adding more seasoning. Do this until you have your desired coating.

*I like to pre-mix my seasonings in a small bowl or bag before sprinkling on my chicken for even flavor.

*My wings were frozen so I covered them until they had thawed out before flipping.

And…It Is What It Is!
